This private area to our home includes your own lanai with sweeping ocean views, two private bedrooms, two full baths, a small gym, a desk with chair for a workspace, dining area, and a kitchen. We usually have a strong WiFi signal, it is satellite internet due to our location, but able to support remote work.
The two bedrooms are spacious with their own ocean view. You enter the unit from your own private french door entrance. The first bedroom contains a queen sized memory foam bed and an en-suite bathroom with dual vanity. Also features a large closet with some snorkel gear and children’s toys.
The second bedroom features a queen sized memory foam bed and a writing desk with chair. It also has a spacious closet for belongings. Both bedrooms have two large windows to look outside into the natural Hawaiian landscape. This unit has another large private bathroom right outside the second bedroom.
In the living area you will find two comfortable couches, a dining table, and a kitchenette.
The lanai is all yours to enjoy. There are chairs and a table to unwind, enjoy some cocktails, your morning coffee, or whatever you prefer. Additionally, there is a comfortable outdoor seating area to lay back and enjoy nature.
The kitchen features a refrigerator, dual burner stove, keurig, a toaster oven, rice maker, pots and pans, dishes for both children and adults, and your cooking essentials (cutting board, utensils, knives, some spices, etc.)
Furthermore, there is a small gym area that is shared just with the hosts located under the unit which features free weights, yoga mats, and a pull up bar.
The expansive lanai & windows within the suite take advantage of the unobstructed views. The tropical beauty that surrounds you is endless. A small orchard includes but is not limited to avocados, multiple citrus, mango, etc.
This is on acreage in the beautiful, lush country area of the island, so please note that bugs, coqui frogs, geckos, wild pigs, and other natural life are more prevalent here.
Breakfast is provided at a cost, a menu will be provided in your guestbook upon arrival.
If you require additional cleaning or daily cleaning during stay, this can be provided for $50 each service.
The hosts, Kimberly and Delia, live in the upstairs area of the home with our friendly English Bulldog, Batman. The spaces are completely separated in the house for your own privacy. However, we are available for any questions, recommendations, and Aloha :) We don’t mind noise or music, and are as accessible as you would prefer us to be.
Lastly, we are 100% off-grid. We have a very robust solar system to support the space. :)

Welcome to your Off-Grid Paradise.
Our home sits upon an elevation which overlooks the Pacific ocean. You will have access to your own private lanai that offers a nice breeze and an amazing, unobstructed ocean view. You can see the bright stars at night, the moon reflect on the ocean, and catch some of the most beautiful sunrises from this side of the island.
You can explore our 11 acre property. There are wild pig trails, a small orchard, various fruiting trees, and more so that you can get in touch with nature and the serenity of the island. That being said you will hear the rustle of palm leaves, tropical birds and coqui frogs at night. The setting is truly beautiful and nurturing with a spacious lawn, fresh tropical fruits and vegetables, caressing breezes and even frequent rainbows. There is a deep sense of peace here.
Our home is centrally located in lower Puna.
*The rustic town of Pahoa is five miles to the north
*The Pacific and tide pools are three miles to the south
*There are many intentional communities a few miles from the house: e.g., Hawaiian Sanctuary (yoga, permaculture, and Hawaiian culture)
*The attractions of Hilo are 40 minutes northbound
Volcano National Park is about 45 minutes northwest Other things to note We can host special events like weddings or birthdays, please send inquiries prior to booking. We can discuss details depending on guest count, catering options, equipment rental, and what your vision is. (We can set up fire knife performers and/or hula dancers to make your event really stand out)*
